The Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania is excited to launch our first ever Pop-Up Party for Epilepsy on November 22, 2015 at Dilworth Park in Center City, Philadelphia from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. (Clean up starts at 1:00 pm and ends at 2:00 pm, we'd love all the help we can get!) The party is free to attend and open to everyone! It's our way of celebrating the strength of the epilepsy community while demonstrating the prevalence of epilepsy/seizure disorders during Epilepsy Awareness Month!
Whether you’re an adult with epilepsy who contacted us for a legal referral or one of our Camp Achieve families, everyone is sure to enjoy the day! We’ll be offering lawn games like Corn Hole, Bocce and Giant Jenga, skating at the Rothman Ice Skating Rink and lunch from Garces Catering. Rothman Rink opens at 11 am and you can skate as long as you'd like, even after the party is over!
While the party is ramping up, runners from Team EFEPA will be winding down from racing in the Philadelphia Marathon and Half-Marathon. When you're tired from partying, you can even check out the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market hosted by the Center City District or the Christmas Village in LOVE Park across the street!
